Recently, Bishop Trimble shared with us a devotional that he had experienced several months ago at a meeting at a theological seminary. It had to do with glory sightings; those moments when we perhaps come upon an especially beautiful sighting in nature or a moment of experiencing a heart warming interchange between another adult or children.
As we go through the rest of winter we will have opportunities to be a part of even more of these glory sightings. It is the faithfulness of Christians glorifying God in worship, service and ministry that makes one to redouble his/her own efforts to live out the John Wesley invitation to:
Do all the good you can, By all the means you can, In all the ways you can, In all the places you can, At all the times you can, To all the people you can, As long as ever you can.
Let us all do as much good as we can to our fellow humankind and our environment as Jesus has taught us.
